php-font-lib software package provides read, parse, export and make subsets of different fonts, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install php-font-lib
php-font-lib is installed in your system.
Make ensure the php-font-lib package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep php-font-lib *
You will get with php-font-lib package name, version, architecture and description in a table
